A cool front came through, Texas A&M (mine and hubby’s college) beat #1 Alabama, the Living Room is clean, and my sweet daughter made me coffee this morning!

I’m choosing to focus on the good stuff. Sure there’s always negative things going on, but focusing on the good, makes us feel happier, and more motivated.

It was a beautiful day yesterday but I couldn’t really go out to enjoy it because my allergies this time of year are so bad. I go outside and start sneezing and before I know it, I’m carrying a tissue box everywhere I go!

Good thing I fixed up the porch already. I am loving my simple porch this year! Don’t worry there are plenty of pumpkins…just not in this shot.

We had a “Nailed It” party (like the Netflix show) over the weekend for my daughter’s birthday.

The girls all attempted to decorate cupcakes like a given example. They had very limited time to work with and they came up with some hilarious cupcakes.

This bakery awning on our kitchen windows is a little peek at the decorations we put up for the party.
