I can’t believe we have lived in this house for over 3 years and this is the first time I have shared this!

I was talking to a client who was concerned about the look of too many doors after some floor plan changes so I suggested a hidden door! And I happen to have an example! Thought I’d share with you too!

This weekend we need to do some serious cleaning and outdoor sprucing up. The house doesn’t currently look like this post Spring Break. I wish I could wave a magic wand!

Notice anything different?

Have you been considering a frame TV? I was truly surprised how it transformed the room.
I love how the thin tv hugs the wall just like a painting!
The tv mode setting and the art mode setting are independent, so you can watch tv with the color and brightness setting you like and and it won’t affect your art mode picture.

I’m trying out a new frame. This one is the Graphite Alloy Scoop and I’ll link it in my stories.

Is your spouse different from you in almost every way?

It’s funny that we both answered that we go with the flow because there’s definitely times when neither of us is doing that!

Cody and I are different, and sometimes our differences are annoying.

If you’re on the fence about self-contracting yo

If you’re on the fence about self-contracting your home build, I can tell you we would do it again….even though in our first build, we made some mistakes that cost us some money and hassle. It was still so worth it financially that we did it again!

The best part is you don’t have to pick up a hammer or know anything about construction!

We are getting very close to launching our step-by-step program to help normal non-construction people self contract their dream home and save lots of money! So be sure to follow along to stay informed!

How to turn an Armoire into a Linen Closet:

On our floor plans there’s a linen closet in this space, but in our house there wasn’t one because my daughter used it for a desk area. A linen closet is a much better use of the space and I’m excited to finally have a home for sheets, and extra blankets, etc!

What all is in here?
• extra TP
• extra towels
• a jar of travel sized toiletries for guests who may have forgotten theirs at home (toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, etc.
• cotton balls, q-tips
• cleaning supplies, rubbing alcohol, peroxide, bandages
• sheets organized by size
• pillowcases
• extra blankets

Can’t wait for Spring so we can enjoy some more
