A Classy Cozy Christmas Home Tour | Ralph Lauren Style

November 7, 2025

Welcome to Our Ralph Lauren Christmas Home Tour

This year, we styled our home with one theme in mind: a classic, nostalgic Ralph Lauren Christmas.

Why are we so drawn to this style? I think it reminds us of Christmas pasts, family and friends and at the same time an elevated Christmas to aspire to.

It’s warm, cozy, sentimental, and very classy at the same time.

With warm layers, traditional plaids, deep greens, vintage brass, and a “collected over time” feeling is a combo that makes every room glow with holiday charm.

Come with us room by room as we share holiday decorating tricks, design insights, and Christmas home styling tips you can easily recreate.

Classic Christmas Curb Appeal — Exterior in the daytime

Christmas magic begins at the curb, and this year we kept things warm, understated, and traditional.
Fresh greenery, simple lanterns, and soft white lights create that old-world charm we love.

We hung wreaths on the windows, a timeless touch that looks beautiful even during the day when the lights are off.

Exterior Christmas Decorating Tips

  • Stick to a simple palette—two or three colors max (we used white lights, red bows, and greenery).
  • Repeat colors and textures to make the whole exterior feel intentional.
  • Choose décor that still looks festive in daylight.

Foyer Christmas Decorations | Creating a Welcoming Entryway

The foyer sets the tone the moment someone steps inside your home.
We used a mix of evergreen stems, classic plaid ribbon, and vintage holiday pieces we’ve collected over the years.

The combination of greenery and nostalgia creates a warm holiday welcome.

Front Room Christmas Decor | Rich Textures & Timeless Ralph Lauren Style

In our Front room, we leaned fully into the Ralph Lauren aesthetic:

  • Rich wood tones
  • Cozy throws
  • Jewel-tone accents
  • Silver, crystal, and leather
  • Stacks of books for that library-at-Christmas feeling

Layering different textures instantly creates that elegant, nostalgic holiday vibe.

Budget-Friendly Christmas Decorating Tips

  • Swap pillow covers instead of buying new pillows each season.
  • Use what you already have like stacking books into a festive “tree.”
  • Mix metals and materials to recreate that collected, heritage look.
  • Check thrift shops for decor – I found this silver tray at my local Goodwill Store.

Stair Hall Christmas Garland | Traditional and Dramatic

The stair hall is one of our favorite spots to decorate because it adds drama with minimal effort.
This year we kept the garland simple and traditional with:

Cozy Christmas Living Room | Fireside Decor & Plaid Accents

Our living room is the heart of our Christmas celebrations, and this year we went heavy on:

  • Candlelight
  • Layered throws
  • Burgundy and deep red accents
  • Classic plaid and tartan patterns

To add a natural, woodsy touch to the Christmas tree, we unraveled grapevine wreaths and wrapped the pieces around the branches. This is such an easy, organic upgrade.

Last year, we started neutral, but viewers loved the pops of red… so this year, the red came out in full force.

Living Room Styling Ideas

  • Mix real greenery with faux to get the scent and the fullness.
  • Use candles and warm bulbs to create a cozy glow.
  • Add natural elements like grapevine, pinecones, or dried oranges—to balance out shiny ornaments.

Our dining room is where we brought the elevated Ralph Lauren look to life.
We layered:

The effect is intimate, warm, and beautifully traditional.

Entertaining Tip for Holiday Dinners

If you want guests to linger at the table:
Use candles or warm bulbs. They soften the space and make everyone look great.
Keep the centerpiece low enough for easy conversation.

Are you incorporating Ralph Lauren touches into your Christmas décor this year?

Christmas Kitchen Decor | Practical and Festive

The kitchen is where the real holiday magic happens… but you still need space to cook, bake, and gather.
We kept our Christmas kitchen décor simple and functional:

  • A garland on the hood
  • Pine stems and berries in a vase
  • Pretty trays for everyday items
  • Small seasonal touches that don’t interfere with workspace

Christmas Decorating Tip

Place everyday essentials on a beautiful tray. It instantly looks intentional—and it’s easy to move out of the way when cookie decorating chaos takes over the island.

Primary Suite Christmas Refresh | Warm, Cozy & Relaxing

For our primary suite, we added a touch of Christmas warmth to complement our new electric fireplace.
This year we styled the bed with:

Changing just one or two textiles can transform a bedroom for the season.

Bedroom Christmas Decor Tip

Try swapping out:
✔ A throw blanket
✔ A lumbar pillow
✔ A small tabletop arrangement
Small changes make the room feel thoughtfully decorated without overwhelming it.
