While exploring master bathroom design ideas I realized the other day that I needed to have the master freestanding tub decided so the plumber could rough in for the drain before the foundation is poured. Some tubs have the drain in the center, some on one end. And I needed to decide about the tub filler too. I need to decide where to put it. Behind the tub and centered seems like the best choice aesthetically, but we would have to reach way over the tub to turn it on. Another option is on one end which would be more reachable, but less symmetrical. What would you do? Behind or side?
