This Pecan Grove floor plan tour showcases a beautifully finished modern farmhouse client build located in southern Alabama. This home is a reverse version of the Pecan Grove plan and was completed within the last year, featuring thoughtful customizations, timeless finishes, and smart planning for future growth.
The Pecan Grove is a 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath farmhouse design with a welcoming layout that balances open-concept living and private bedroom spaces. Upon entry, the home features a two-story foyer that allows natural light to pour from the window in the gable, immediately creating a bright and inviting atmosphere.

The main living area is designed with classic farmhouse character, including:
The living room flows seamlessly into the kitchen and dining areas, making the space ideal for everyday living and entertaining.
The kitchen features painted cabinetry in a soft neutral tone call Anew Gray by Sherwin Williams, quartz countertops, and counter-to-ceiling tile that adds visual height and texture. A window over the sink brings in natural light, while open shelving and stained wood accents add warmth throughout the space. The stain throughout is Early American. The dining area remains open to both the kitchen and stair railing, maintaining sightlines and connection across the main floor.

The primary bedroom includes a vaulted ceiling with a decorative beam and windows facing the front of the home. The ensuite bath was customized from the original plan and features:
On the opposite side of the home, the secondary bedrooms were extended by approximately three feet at the request of the homeowners. These bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, with individual vanities for each bedroom and a shared tub and toilet area — a practical solution for families.
One of the standout features of this build is the optional bonus room over the garage. While not yet finished, the homeowners planned ahead by:

This approach allows the space to be finished later without major structural changes.

The home also includes a vaulted back porch with a stained ceiling, extending the living space outdoors and creating a perfect spot for relaxing or entertaining.
