New wall! While I was sick over the Christmas brea

New wall! While I was sick over the Christmas break my husband built a whole wall and gate…to keep a certain puppy in the yard.
.
One day when the gate was half-built and not yet hung, my husband heard it fall and looked and couldn’t find Bonnie (puppy). So he started looking everywhere, feared she’d run out to a busy street, he went searching in his car. As he was looking for her and not paying attention to where he was going he took out our brick mailbox and did some damage to his car. I came out to help look and picked up the gate that fell. She was under it the whole time! Silent! In 3.5” of space! Surrounded by a bunch of screws and pierced by none!

I’ll show the gate/screws in my STORIES as well as the other side of this wall.

Grateful. That’s how I feel every time I drive up the driveway under the canopy of trees and see our house. Ahh! It’s that time of year when I have to open up the gifts I’ve already wrapped so I can remember what they are!

Word of advice: Don’t change into Christmas pajamas when there’s a guy on a ladder outside your window installing Christmas lights. Don’t ask me how I know.

So THANKFUL for these people ❤️. (Dogs are people too.) Bonnie @bluebonnet.the.goldendoodle our new puppy is settling in nicely. She doesn’t seem to mind being carried like a baby everywhere by Annabelle and the boys are enjoying playing and cuddling with her too! She is already taller than her Dachshund cousin she met at Thanksgiving and we know by Christmas she’ll really tower over him.
