Christmas at the Farmhouse
Welcome to our home!
We have it all decorated for Christmas and we are excited to show you around!
First, the exterior got the classic treatment with lights and wreaths on the windows with red bows.
The porch pillows are also bringing Christmas cheer.
Let’s watch the lights come alive as it gets darker outside.
Inside, it’s nice and warm, the Christmas music is playing and there’s cookies in the oven!
Plaid pillow covers keep it casual yet festive!
The 12′ tall Christmas Tree reaches steals the show and is filled with ribbons, glass ornaments and family treasures.
It even holds a stuffed squirrel to remind us of one of our favorite Christmas movies, Christmas Vacation.
Mixing faux stems of cedar and eucalyptus into a regular pine garland give it a little more oomph, and to provide a nice cascade over the edge of the reclaimed barn wood mantel.
A pair of chairs flanking the fireplace adds to the cozy feel.
The plaid flows into the Dining Room with the plates and napkins.
A basket of greenery, flameless candles and large rustic jingle bells provides a simple casual centerpiece.
Decking the halls in the kitchen means garland over the vent hood, which makes the stove really feel like the hearth of the kitchen.
And the built-in hutch is stocked with all things Christmas, ready to be used for Christmas dinner or an impromptu gathering.
The Bedroom is looking merry and bright with it’s decor in green and white.
The ribbon on the tree is especially cozy cable knit ribbon to match the cable knit stockings.
Even the mudroom welcomes us with a cheery reminder that Santa’s on his way!
